An interview with multi-talented Jay Vinchi

Interviews

During the late 2010s, Jay Vinchi – a Singer/Songwriter, Visual Artist, and Producer – emerged from the Detroit underground with several independent singles and project. He found his passion within a unique blend of Hip Hop, Rock, and Pop.
After gathering millions of streams and views, he inked a deal with ADS Music Partners. Shortly after, he began performing in front of sold out crowds alongside acts such as Machine Gun Kelly, Cardi B, Mannie Fresh, and more.

We are sharing our recent interview with him.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Jay Vinchi :
I was always interested since I was young, as I created and progressed it all just came together naturally. I was inspired once people started to react positively to my work.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
Jay Vinchi :
I’ve been recently releasing a song per week, the most recent of which was MVP and it was a straight Hip Hop influenced track from the golden days. This one was made with passion, and the lyrics are about my life and journey so far. Both good and bad things got discussed.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Jay Vinchi :
It’s been great, people are loving these tracks. I’m not even dropping with budgets, it’s just all organic.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Jay Vinchi :
That’s tough, I love Hip Hop/Rock/Pop primarily. I make music to not fit one genre, that’s always been my goal. When people ask me what genre a song is, it makes me happy to know my intention is going the way it should.

Twist Online : What do you enjoy the most, working in studios or performing on stage?
Jay Vinchi :
I love being in the studio, creating the music is the best part for me. The emotion is unreal. Shows are fun, but I want to touch the world with my music and then perform in front of them once the emotion is understood.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Jay Vinchi :
Certainly, my most important goal is to release 100 songs in the next 3 years and get my music heard in every country on earth. Then play festivals all over the planet.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Jay Vinchi :
I’m currently working on several projects in different genres. This whole thing is a trip, so I’m just staying down and releasing consistently.
