Twist Online : Our readers would like to know about start of your professional career.
Momin Deen : Well when you say professional, I have to look at myself again, I can’t I believe I’m an entrepreneur, I’m sorry I couldn’t stop laughing. My professional career revolves around hobbies that I took seriously, like football, arts, and of course what I consider my best is music.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Momin Deen : My brother gave me his guitar, and at such a young age I have to make something out of it suppose, and listening to Elvis was a really big help for my presence and voice.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent Album?
Momin Deen : Well I would say it’s a tough road, I guess I am in that position of being stuck with brilliant ideas surrounded by poor execution, a lot has to be done to make sure every single track is breaded with feel. It is not easy balancing good sounds with proper structure.

Twist Online : You are planning a tour for the album promotion. what kind of response you are expecting from your fans?
Momin Deen : I don’t know my fans if I’m honest, everyday I write for myself and going to every single person is already challenging prospect. Every single individual is different, I have developed an understanding that I cannot please everyone with my weird sounds! but someone out there might like? I expect my fans if they exists to support my album and others in particular.

Twist Online : Any particular track of the Album that’s your favorite?
Momin Deen : I like my new track, Sounds of Kites, I listen to it everyday just make sure that there are no gaps missing before I proceed with another one.

Twist Online : What attracts you more performing on stage or working in studios?
Momin Deen : Honestly I love both and it is part of being a musician, you have be comfortable with both. Being in the studio is great but you need to show people that you are alive, so how I did live is important to show to the crowd of what I did in studio, so I try to be a copy my album but not too obvious I suppose.

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve as a music artist?
Momin Deen : Yes, I want to be there (live) as much as I can, but I have finish what I started which was my album, I’m like headless chicken at the moment, really here and there. This interview really gives me a wakeup call!

Have your say
