Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Marloni Berlusconi : I’m Marloni Berlusconi. I’m from Aarhus in Denmark.
I am 16 years old, and I’ve been composing, songwriting and sampling music since 2015. I make music because it’s my passion, and I write lyrics because I’m good at it. My idol is Michael Jackson, and when I was little I used to dance to his music.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Marloni Berlusconi : Kanye West inspired me a lot because he’s so spirited and outstanding. He makes diverse music, and he dare to go a bit out of a certain genre in the music industry. For example when he made 808’s And Heartbreak. Nobody had ever seen something like that. That was a way different style he introduced the world to.
Kanye pushes me when I listen to his songs and watch his videos, and that gives me the power to never give up. I just keep moving forward.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘Work it out’?
Marloni Berlusconi : My latest release is a portion of authentic songs with a twist of alternative ideas. When I produced and wrote the songs, I felt like this was my first serious project, and I felt like this really was the sound I wanted to present the world to. Some sincere tracks and some way different ideas than the mainstream music industry gives you.
Twist Online : And what about “Diamond”?
Marloni Berlusconi : Diamond was also an impulsive track. I put a lot of weight in the melody. The melody in Diamond is kinda simple, but it’s still ain’t too different from the songs they play in the radio.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Marloni Berlusconi : I’ve received a kinda decent response from the release. People give me their feedback, and I know that there’s things here and there that I need to work on…
