Right Here, Right Now is the third studio album by Jordin Sparks. Released on August 21, 2015 through Red Associated Labels. Sparks made the official album announcement on November 25, 2014, after releasing her mixtape, #ByeFelicia. It serves as her first release in six years following 2009 Battlefield. Incorporating a base core of R&B, Right Here, Right Now was influenced by Whitney Houston, Babyface, Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey amongst other of Sparks’ idols. Sparks describes the album as “pretty music with a bump to it”. The final edition of the album features a fourteen-track standard edition which was serviced to all domestic & international markets. On the album, Sparks co-wrote seven out of the fourteen tracks.
Upon its release, Right Here, Right Now received generally favorable reviews from most music critics. With many critics citing Right Here, Right Now as Sparks best work to date, applauding her for finally finding her sound.
