5 Comments Blog Interviews

Today in our interview section we have interview a multi-talented artist from Atlanta “TheVerce”. We are sure you will enjoy this conversation.

Twist Online : Our readers would like to know about start of your music career. Please do tell us about it briefly.

TheVerce : I started off like most artist doing showcasing and performing. I wasn’t really getting a response so I decided to go against the grain and add an electronic vibe to my music. I continued to struggle to get noticed and then I finally got my big break after performing at an exclusive industry party in ATL. I was offered a deal and began working with Sebastion Kole on a few records. Snoop Dogg took notice and featured on my first official single. The rest is history in the making.

Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming EP “The Inner Light” ?
TheVerce : The Inner Light Ep is my newest project and is available everywhere in July. This project is a mixture of party and electronic hip-hop. It is designed to increase your serotonin to a level never felt before. The Ying Yang Twins hopped on a song I created called “The Drank Song”. This song is pure magic. The Inner Light EP is perfect to play at every club and every pool party.

Twist Online : What do you enjoy more, working in studio or your colorful live performances on stage?
TheVerce : I actually enjoy working in the studio more. I am not really about the fame. If you notice I say we instead of I in a lot of my music. Our shows are more about the party atmosphere than about me. I am merely a musical host to the event.

Twist Online : Is there someone in the music industry you are inspired of?
TheVerce : It has always been and always will be OutKast.
Twist Online : Do you write your own songs?
TheVerce : Yes I write my own songs. Sometimes another artist may have a song with a hook for me to feature on but other than that I write all my music.

Twist Online : Why you had gone for hip-hop as your genre?
TheVerce : I was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia. The hip-hop community drives the music in my town so it was natural to choose hip-hop.

Twist Online : How was response of your fans to Your recent video “This Girl Is So”? They must be loving it.
TheVerce : The response has been amazing. The comments are all positive and music choice and mtv2 are picking it up. We are really grateful for the positive feedback.

Twist Online : Any other new project you are working on? When it will be released?
TheVerce : The latest project is my new EP “The Inner Light”. It will release in July on iTunes and all music retailers. We are currently gearing up to shoot my next video called “Matt McConaughey”

Twist Online : Are you on Social Media? Your fans would love to follow you.
TheVerce : I am always on social media. Check me out here.

I’ve noticed some Outcast influence in the lyrics. A good thing considering they are one of my Favorite groups. Digging the “Girl is so” also. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already

I met this incredibly talented guy named The Verse in 2000’… He was a friend of a friend and came to our basement studio to record some tracks. I’ve loved hip hip all my life and when started spitting his rhymes….. I knew then this guy would go places one day! It may have been long road for him but this man has never stopped fighting! I’m blessed to have been a small part in his journey and continue to look forward at the rest of his ride! #teamblackout #theverse #letsgo

Not only is he one of my favorite artist. He is also what I consider a great role model and friend for life. His music is one of a kind and I will always side by him like family. Nothing out there in the industry today is like the sound he drops in my ear. Positive and up beat tempo keeps my mind always guessing on what the verce is going to put out in this world today. I can always pop in a CD no matter if it’s some old hits or the new tracks. I’m steadily jamming out and always impressed with his music and lyrics. Mad props to the man The verce. Keep it jumping
