Starting off the year with two well-received dance tracks, New York’s powerhouse vocalist Lachi is back with another popping record! Fire, a collaboration between Lachi and award nominated Danish producer Lynx, brings back that underground dance vibe of glowsticks, fake IDs and jager bombs. It was released by Warner Music Denmark on 3rd of May, and premiered on Spotify’s New Music Friday.
Lynx does a great job of spinning that Fire, forcing you to tap your toes, if not go all out wild at the drop; while Lachi hits us once again with her powerful pipes.
But that’s not all Lachi brings to the table. All of her songs– from recents “Go” and “What I Want” to older songs “Boss” and “Champion” and now to “Fire”–they really make the listener feel empowered. It may be because Lachi’s life story itself is inspiring and it comes out in her music.
She grew up a legally blind African immigrant and lived in many different parts of the U.S. But as we can see, she didn’t allow that to stop her success. She’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry as a songwriter and is making quite the splash as a recording artist.
