SOZIALES HETZWERK and his Self Titled Album

Interviews

Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your music career.
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
I started with a punk band called Rotten 30 years ago. It was a really wild time. After that I was represented in almost every genre, but nothing really made me happy. I’m just the guy who swims too much current and is more into music that really accelerates and comes from the stomach.

Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
A guitar that stood in our house in my childhood – I already had the urge to be loud and active at that time. Then there was also hard rock / metal and punk, music from an early age, which has shaped me to this day.

Twist Online : Tell us about your self titled Album ?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
It’s the best album I’ve ever made. I felt so free in everything I did. I finally sang German (mother tongue) again and wrote songs without paying attention to any imiga. When guest musicians from all over the world supported me (Cilhe, Venezuela, USA, Germany, South Africa, …), I knew that the record was going to be something special.

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
I am currently consistently holding the record back. There was only a very small group of friends, fellow musicians and acquaintances who were allowed to take a look … and they were all enthusiastic so far. Even those who don’t like punk otherwise.

Twist Online : Any particular track from the Album that’s your favorite?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
Each song has its own story and everyone is dear to my heart.

My favorites at the moment are “Leise” and “Social Hetzwerk” because the songs are really well received.

Twist Online : What attracts you more, Working in studios or performing on stage?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
Working in the studio – at least at the moment. But with the new record I really feel like standing on stage with a good group and making noise

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music producer?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
…. that nobody talks to you 🙂 Especially with such a record, it is important that you can implement your innermost basic thoughts completely freely.

Twist Online : Have you set any goals to achieve?
SOZIALES HETZWERK :
First of all, I want to promote the record well so that it reaches as many people as possible. At the same time, I am also working on new songs for the next album, so that fans of good music will soon have new material from SOZIALEN HETZWERK
