We are sharing our recent interview with Miscellaneous .
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Miscellaneous : My name is Malcom Quenton, also known professionally as Miscellaneous. I was born in Pocatello, Idaho. My parents raised me around music so growing up, as a child, music has always been a part of my life. Music itself helps me release my feelings and emotions in a different but inspirational way.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Miscellaneous : I would have to say watching MTV and always having the passion to be able to make my own music and put my own words into a project or song.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Miscellaneous : My recent release is called “Genuine.” When I was making it I had a vision in my mind on how I wanted the song to sound. From there it was just a matter of making it all come together.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Miscellaneous : When it first was released the response that came in on the song was great. I’ve been told multiple times that the hook is really catchy and mesmerizing. The final version came out perfectly.
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Miscellaneous : If i had to say then i would have to say that my favorite music genre would be Hip-Hop/Rap. My second favorite would be R&B.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Miscellaneous : My favorite part of being a musician is being able to express the way I feel in my own way. Putting my words wherever they can be placed and arranging how I want it. I really want to inspire people and make a change in music, but in my own kind of way.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Miscellaneous : Yes. Some of my goals are to do more shows, to make a lot more music, and do even more collaborations with other artists. My main goal is to get recognized and achieve fame.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Miscellaneous : I’m working on a few new projects right now. I also have a few collaborations going on with my label mate, IceTre. We are cooking right now. The label that I’m signed under, Blazington Music Group, is going to be distributing my newest EP when it releases.
