Donnell Isaac : I am Donnell Isaac born Donnell Isaac Charlton born and raised in Portsmouth Virginia. A current resident of Greensboro, NC. I am father of 5 amazing children and a husband. Music has always been my way of life from childhood raised in the church.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Donnell Isaac : Growing up in a family of talented singers and musician has always been a big influence of why I choose to get in the music industry. As a child I watch my aunts and uncles perform with such passion and beautiful unique sounds in the church and I always said to myself that this is what I want to be doing. My late great aunts Fairfield Jackson and Corrine Porter and my late uncle Moses McNeil, where my inspiration that pushed me to be proactive with pursuing music
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release “Tonight”?.
Donnell Isaac : Tonight is a song written for me by my long time producer and friend Mushran “Moosh Millz” Johnson from my home town Portsmouth, Va. When we get together we like to talk about our beautiful wives and our kids. How much we have grown as fathers and husband. He said to me “Donnie I have a great idea in mine hit let me hear it and I knew instantly it was a must have.
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Donnell Isaac : The response has been amazing. One publication Soul track written that “I resonate love in a classy way”
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Donnell Isaac : RnB Soul.
Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Donnell Isaac : Being able to express myself through music and see people feel inspired or empowered from something I have sung or written and recorded.
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Donnell Isaac : Yes I have set my goals to achieve and I’m working hard on it daily.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Donnell Isaac : Yes I’m working on a new EP ” Wine and Relationships” set to release in the first quarter of 2020.
