Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
Scumlife Shotty : First of all thanks for having me, second the start of my Professional career would be back in 2011 when i released my first mixtape “GetItHowYouLiveIt” and the responses i received really motivated me to take this music to the next level.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Scumlife Shotty : My inspirations comes from music moguls such as Jay-Z , P.Diddy and most of all Kanye .
Twist Online : Tell us about your recently released EP MITH III?
Scumlife Shotty : MITH 3 is my third installment to my “MUSICK IZ THA HU$$LE” series, this 6 track EP consist of crafty, witty flows with my signature Scumlife style over Dark sinister beats with some 808’s in there . Music everyone can relate to .
Twist Online : Any particular track from the album that’s your favorite?
Scumlife Shotty : Track three “Scumlife ” wrote that track three years ago.. it never gets old to me. lol
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Scumlife Shotty : Responses are good and still coming in , lol . The fans want more they asked why such a short album . I like it , keeps them on the edge of their seat, I love my scumlord minions.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Scumlife Shotty : Studio is dope, I’m always perfecting my craft in there.. but the stage is where i get to see and interact with my fans. So yea Stage . the adrenaline is LIFE !
Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Scumlife Shotty : TBH …EDM is hella dope. Loving trap music and pop is dope.
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
Scumlife Shotty : Yes , I want to set a platform where i can bring out young up and coming talented youth. Ofcourse being one of the biggest music moguls in the Hip-Hop industry .
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
Scumlife Shotty : I’m always working..lol. But as of now I’m just recording and stay tuned 2018 .
