Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Jimmy Lee :
I Guess I Would Say My Choir Director Bruce Mills, Was My Greatest Inspiration. He Saw Something In Me That None Seem To See. Keys, Sound, Pitch, Melody, Etc. We’re just a few key elements he taught me coming up as a kid. He Passed 15 Years Ago Rest In Peace To My Musical Mentor.

Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ?
Jimmy Lee :
Oh What The The Top Shelf And Affiliates mixtape? BOY it has been pandemonium since it dropped. Over 50,000 +Streams On Spotify, Pandora, IHeart Radio, Spinrilla, audiomack, And more(Global Distribution). Featuring Artist Such As (S.t.o.rry Bricks, Pooh GotIt, King-Elvis,A1-Yeezy,Streetah,Alien704(JudahBoy),Zy White, Something About Mary(S.A.M.). It was an amazing ride creating this project The Love & Outstanding Responses From Our Fans Are Overwhelming

Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Jimmy Lee :
Nothing But Uplifting comments a plethora of shares. Dm blowing up like a stripper daily lol. Seriously I’m getting new attention from different People from different countries. I’m gaining groupies(sorry ladies happily married) but the energy and wave is so dope. I never expected it to do what the mixtape is doing but at the same time its exactly what we’ve always dreamed of and prayed for.

Twist Online : What’s your favorite music genre?
Jimmy Lee :
That’s a tough one because their is a certain thrill and feeling to creating a new song or hit record if you may. Then again seeing my fans, new and veteran, eyes light up and smile stretches when I’m on stage giving all I Got. But if I have to choose One It’s Recording. I feel I’m most free and creative when I’m behind that mic or in that booth. Having the freedom to guide the mind body and soul to a different place.

Twist Online : What’s the best part of being a music artist?
Jimmy Lee :
So There is this dope ass show packed with like 75k People On a beach front called Orange Crush. It’s The 26th 27th And 28th Of April I’m performing the whole weekend it’s so exciting. We Also Have this big 4/20 Bash Featuring The Infamous Blacc Zacc And SCMG Camp. It’s About to be up like a 1 Way elevator lol

Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Jimmy Lee :
Of Course Just Any Other Artist. Multi Award Winning Music, Acting Roles, Grammys Especially, And Worldwide Exposures. It’s Broad But Through Steps And Carefully chosen decisions I feel I can do anything. So I dedicate numerous hours into my craft and career. Definitely want to start touring Hell we can start a tour right now lol. I want to gain it all without losing myself or morals.

Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Jimmy Lee :
So Glad You guys Asked This. I Have 2 Solo Projects Coming This Year. My Mixtape “Jimmy Lee & Friends” which is going to have some of the greatest features and Carolina collaborations the world has heard. My Second Project Of This year which I feel is the biggest to me is my album “Jimmy Nuetron” I Truly Don’t Know where to begin. From its advanced southern sound to the dynamics and animation Locked in each song. It’s going to shake the world up. Shout out to Nycstro The Beatmaker, Skyy Beats Of Ued, Street Execs Studios, TrePounds Of 808 Mafia, Mala Beats, DayToDay, Lil Memphis, And Quality Control Studios. For All The Love Patience Love And Hard Work Given To me in assistance to creating such a great masterpiece.
