Interview with rapper Zigz Gaud
Today on our Hot Seat we have a Toronto based Native American Rapper Zigz Gaud with us. Let’s have a chat with him.
Twist Online : First of all please introduce yourself to our readers.
Zigz Gaud : First off my name is Zeegwan Gaudet A.K.A Zigz Gaud . 21 year old up an coming Native American Rapper from Toronto ,Canada
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
Zigz Gaud : When I was young I always use to freestyle with my cousins and neighborhood friends , but it’s wasn’t until I met Steve Holly Wood The Producers . He was a friend of my brothers . We recorded my first single “Flexing” on a beat he made and everyone loved it , so he pushed me to release it and make more music .
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release ‘
Zigz Gaud : My Most recent release was a single called “Fake Love” . I released a music video for it on September 20th 2018
Twist Online : What kind of response you have received from the release?
Zigz Gaud : So for I got really good feedback from “Fake Love” . I feel everyone would relate to the song itself when it’s comes to the topic
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
Zigz Gaud : What attracts me more , that’s a hard a Twist Online because they both fill a magic feeling every Artist should feel . For me personally though I like to do shows , there’s a certain connection with the audience that you experience that I just can’t put into words
Twist Online : Tell us about your upcoming projects
Zigz Gaud : I’m working with other hard working up an coming rappers . Crash Rarri from Ohio state and Kay Bandz from Montreal Canada . My next move will be Music videos for singles I have with them .
Twist Online : Have you set some goals to achieve?
Zigz Gaud : I have , I love to perform and give back to the community. So by next spring I am hoping I can set a Canadian wide tour including Native Reservations and give back to my people will doing so.
Twist Online : Are you working on any new project?
Zigz Gaud : I am currently putting together a EP / Tape with a couple surprise features .
